I’m Mia, the owner and property manager behind Mahana. Today, I manage a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties across North-West Auckland

I bring experience from investment property ownership, the building industry, and a professional background where clear advice, good judgement, and getting the details right really matter.

Mahana is intentionally kept personal. When you call, you’ll be speaking to the person who looks after your property, and I’ll already know the property you’re calling about.

I wanted more from
property management.

So I built it.

My experience as a landlord shaped a lot of what Mahana is today. I didn’t just want someone to pass on my tenant’s question or organise a repair. I wanted a property manager I could turn to for an informed opinion. Someone who could explain my obligations, help me weigh up a decision and tell me what they genuinely thought the best way forward was.

That’s the kind of property management I have created with Mahana.

The day-to-day management matters, of course. But I believe a good property manager should also be a source of knowledge and support, helping you make informed decisions while always remembering there are real people on both sides of every tenancy.
